LG Chem plans to expand EV battery production capacity in Poland

Investment to increase production to 70 GWh per year at Polish plant

South Korean battery maker LG Chem is planning to invest KRW651.3 billion (USD579.5 million) in LG Chem Wroclaw Energy, its wholly owned subsidiary in Poland, for expanding electric vehicle (EV) battery production in the country, The Investor reported on 29 November, citing a company announcement.
