Constellium completes acquisition of UACJ’s 49% stake in US JV

Dutch supplier paid USD100 million and assumed third-party debt to gain full ownership of the JV

Constellium has completed the previously announced acquisition of 49% stake of UACJ Corporation in Constellium-UCAJ ABS LLC (CUA), the Netherlands-based aluminum supplier said in a press release on 11 January. The Dutch supplier paid USD100 million to UACJ to gain full ownership of the US-based JV. The company also assumed 49% of around USD80 million of the third-party debt of CUA.
