Volkswagen (VW) to invest USD800 million in US plant expansion to build EVs

Volkswagen (VW) is planning to invest EUR700 million (USD800 million) towards expansion of its Chattanooga plant in Tennessee (United States) for manufacturing electric vehicles (EV) based on its modular electric toolkit (MEB) platform, the company announced in a press release on 14 January.
