JLR recalls 68,828 vehicles in China over engine safety issue

Crankshaft bearings on the affected vehicles may experience earlier than expected wear and tear and even break under extreme condition, JLR said

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has announced plans to recall 68, 828 vehicles in China to address engine safety issue, Xinhua reported last month. The recall, filed by JLR to China’s State Administration for Market Regulation, includes 42,000 Land Rover Discovery 4 SUVs produced between 2009 and 2016, and more than 20,000 Range Rover Sport SUVs, built between 2009 and 2013.
