Singapore releases guidelines for deploying autonomous vehicles

TR68 is a provisional standard and will continue to undergo refinement, as AV technologies matures

Singapore has released a set of provisional national standards to guide the local transportation industry in safe development and deployment of fully autonomous vehicles (AV). The standards, called Technical Reference 68 (TR 68), was published by Enterprise Singapore, a government agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, in collaboration with the Land Transportation Authority (LTA), Singapore Manufacturing Federation-Standards Development Organization (SMF-SDO) and Singapore Standards Council (SSC) over past one year.
