Introduces ‘Green Mode’ that allows riders to book hybrid or EV for ride

Lyft plans to launch ‘thousands’ of electric vehicles (EV) in its ride-hailing platform this year, the US-based company announced in a blog on 6 February. The company has introduced a new feature called ‘Green Mode’ on its ride-sharing app that will allow users to book a hybrid car or EV for a ride. Lyft has launched the Green Mode option in Seattle (United States) and plans to offer the service in other parts of the country as well.
