Plug-in EV sales in EU grow 38.2% y/y in 2018 to 301,847 units

Electrically-chargeable vehicles (ECV) accounted for 2% of new cars registered across the EU during 2018

Sales of plug-in electric vehicles in European Union (EU) grew 33.1% year-on-year (y/y) to 86,372 units in 2018, European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) announced in a press release on 7 February.
