Geneva Motor Show 2019: Volkswagen to showcase new Passat with partially automated driving feature

The new Passat will also have new features in infotainment and lighting.

Volkswagen (VW) is gearing up to showcase its next-generation Passat at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland next month, the automaker said in a press release on 6 February. The company will launch its eighth-generation Passat, to debut simultaneously in sedan and estate versions, and come equipped with Travel Assist technology, which will allow the vehicle to drive in partially automated driving mode from 0-210 kilometer per hour (kph), with its new IQ.DRIVE system.
