Toyota, Denso, Toyota Tsusho invest USD15 million in Airbiquity

Four companies also agree to collaborate on the development and commercialization of an automotive-grade over-the-air (OTA) system to support remote vehicle software updates and management

Japan-based Toyota Motor, Toyota Tusho and Denso have jointly invested USD15 million in Airbiquity, a US-based connected vehicle services provider, according to a press release by Airbiquity on 11 March. Each Japanese company has made investment of USD5 million through private placement.
