Mazda recalls 14,370 vehicles in US due to incorrect programming of transmission control module

Incorrect programming in TCM may cause the vehicle to unexpectedly downshift and abruptly decelerate

Mazda is recalling certain 2016-2019 MX-5 roadsters in the United States to fix issue with transmission control module (TCM) programming, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said last month.
