Hyundai invests in mobility solutions start-up CODE42.ai

Two companies will co-operate on a smart mobility solution, Urban Mobility Operating System (UMOS) that bundles various mobility services such as ride-hailing, car-sharing, robot taxies, smart logistics and food delivery

Hyundai has announced plans to invest in CODE42.ai, a South Korea-based start-up developing future mobility solutions, reports The Korea Herald. The two companies will co-operate on a smart mobility solution called the Urban Mobility Operating System (UMOS) that bundles various mobility services such as ride-hailing, car-sharing, robot taxies, smart logistics and food delivery. Hyundai and CODE42.ai will also focus on developing technologies in the areas of connected car services, robotics and artificial intelligence (AI).
