BASF to build plants in China to produce engineering plastics, thermoplastic polyurethanes

Company says advanced performance materials will help electronics and automotive manufacturers reduce weight, improve safety and efficiency

BASF has announced plans to build an engineering plastics compounding plant and a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) plant at the company’s proposed integrated chemical production (Verbund) site in Zhanjiang, China, according to a press release on 21 May
