Fiat Chrysler Automobiles recalls 295,981 Ram 1500 pickup trucks in US over software glitch

The software error may inadvertently disable air bags and seat belt pretensioners

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is voluntarily recalling around 295,981 units of Ram 1500 pickup trucks in the United States to fix a software glitch that may prevent deploying of airbags and seat belt pretensioners in the event of collision, the automaker said in a press release earlier this month.
