Waymo begins testing self-driving Jaguar I-PACE electric SUVs on public roads in US

Waymo plans to use modified Jaguar I-PACE electric SUVs in its self-driving ride-hailing service from 2020

Waymo has started testing self-driving Jaguar I-PACE electric SUVs on public roads, California (United States), TechCrunch reports. According to the report, one of the modified I-PACE SUVs was spotted driving close to Waymo’s headquarters in Mountain View with a safety driver behind the wheel on Monday (17 June). Waymo later confirmed to TechCrunch that the vehicle was being tested in autonomous mode.
