China-based SVOLT Energy plans to build new EV battery plant in Europe

The new facility will feature a research centre and factories for battery materials, cells and modules with initial capacity of 20 GWh

China-based battery maker SVOLT Energy is planning to build a new battery cell plant in Europe, Reuters reported on 9 July citing SVOLT general manager Yang Hongxin.
