Mercedes-Benz issues two recalls in China affecting 4,699 vehicles
First recall affects 4,560 units of imported S-Class and the second impacts 139 units of the imported S-Class and CLS-Class
Mercedes-Benz has issued two recalls in China affecting a total 4,699 vehicles, according to the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR). The first recall affects 4,560 units of imported Mercedes-Benz S-Class, produced between 28 January 2017 and 11 September 2018. In affected vehicles, some software error in steering control unit and the assembly process of the steering bellows at the time of production, may affect the proper functioning of DISTRONIC PLUS and steering assist functions.
