Cepton unveils Vista-X120 lidar for ADAS and autonomous driving

New lidar sensor offers a 120° horizontal field of view (FOV) and can detect objects up to 200 meters at 10% reflectivity

Cepton Technology has launched its latest Vista-X120 lidar sensor for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving applications, the US-based company said in a press release on 9 September. The new lidar sensor, powered by Cepton’s patented Micro Motion Technology (MMT), offers a 120° horizontal field of view (FOV) and can detect objects up to 200 meters at 10% reflectivity. Vista-X120’s compact and embedded design makes it possible to seamlessly integrate into vehicles.
