Hyundai Autron to use Blackberry QNX for next-gen ADAS and autonomous driving platform

The Korean supplier will use the BlackBerry QNX® OS for Safety, a software solution for building safety critical systems

Hyundai Autron, a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Group (HMG), has selected BlackBerry QNX to power its next-generation advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving platform, BlackBerry said in a press release on 5 November. The Korean subsidiary will use the BlackBerry QNX® OS for Safety, a software solution for building safety critical systems. Hyundai Autron’s secured ADAS and autonomous is expected to be commercialized by the company’s OEM customers.
